Notre traditionnel Match Encou / Basse Seine qui oppose nos deux clubs depuis 1889, s'est couru dimanche dernier sur le plan d'eau de la Marne entre Le Perreux et Nogent-sur-Marne. C'est le plus ancien Match Français d'aviron inspiré par le mythique Match Anglais OXFORD/CAMBRIDGE. J’ai le regret de vous annoncer le décès de Mr Stéphane VAGNER, Maire Adjoint de Courbevoie, délégué aux sports. Stéphane avait mis dans sa mission auprès des associations sportives de Courbevoie, toute sa patience et sa gentillesse. Cette course historique en tête de rivière, réunit tous les ans des rameurs français et étrangers sur 4700m, départ lancé du pont de Gennevilliers et arrivée devant le club de la Basse Seine, face à l'ile de la Jatte à Courbevoie.
